Glow in the dark Nebula Galaxy Flow Painting

Late at night when the studio is more quiet I often paint to relax and have enjoyed making “flow paintings” recently. Here is the first available “glow in the dark flow painting” by Monique Lula like a galaxy nebula that glows in the dark too!~

I have a new collection of Glow Art and will continue to add my pieces there as I create them.

Over the years I have made many glow in the dark pieces of jewelry and having taken art classes in college I decided to start painting a little more and incorporating my art in my jewelry such as my Witch Hat Kitty. This year I plan on taking it even further and doing more art and using my magic to make them glow in the dark!

Sign of Love in New Orleans

Looking for a sign of love? I was out walking with my daughter today and saw this sign on the telephone pole,… “Love” in red letters. Had a great 4th of July this weekend and ready for a nice relaxing Sunday of glow in the dark jewelry auctions.

Sidewalk plate art, love sign, and park

I spent the day out and about with my daughter today. We saw lots of interesting things near and on our way to the park! In addition to the love sign, we found a vintage plate that had been broken and then placed in the cement by an artist! What a great use to an old broken plate, this is what makes New Orleans such an interesting place to live!

My daughter played on the swings and slides at the park and I took pictures of her and the trees as usual. I love trees, they inspire me so much. As soon as I came home I added my Tree of Life with blue skies and green grass to glowies.net. We had a great time and I even had time to add some new glowies to the shop! Including the new Snow White Glow Lockets ®

New Orleans Glassworks

So we decided to get out for a bit on a late Friday afternoon. We headed downtown to Chuck’s Bar and got to hang out with some old friends. Great time! I love New Orleans. Upon walking back to our car I realized we had parked right next to the New Orleans Glassworks Studio, and although it was closed I got a picture of the adorable glass octopus wine glass in the window, along with several other beautiful hand blown glass items.

I love the eyes on this cute, green octopus. I’d have a drink with him.
