These are mood color changing like those rings from the 1970s. These earrings do not glow in the dark, it is color changing in the daylight. I created these to be like the fantastic mood changing stickers and jewelry of my youth in the 70s and 80s. They are magical and very colorful! The color changes are stunning against the black!
The black butterfly has a special meaning in my life. Inspired by the desire to change and be renewed from decisions of the past. The color changing effect of these is inspired by that decision to change. Made with love I hope when you wear these wings they give you the same feeling of renewal.
All the pictures are of the same earrings to show the variety of color range from a golden green to dark blue. As you venture out into the sun or into the office the color will change creating a stunning effect.
I worked on these live on my Facebook page and made videos of the process of me creating them.It is a tedious and time-consuming process involving multiple steps that take forever to dry before you can proceed to the next stage.
Earrings are made with lightweight epoxy resin and measure about 2.25 inches plus hooks. Easy and comfortable to wear.
