Kitty Cat on the Moon Glowie Dreamcatcher. This is my latest design. I have been making glow in the dark jewelry for over a decade and have started to use my jewelry parts to make fabulous glow in the dark dreamcatchers. This one is very special.
This dreamcatcher measures almost 7 inches wide, and is 17 inches from top of the ring to the bottom crystal, with a 4 inch chain and ring at the top to hang. I hand wrapped the big ring with purple ribbon, wire wrapped the frame with glass and stone beads including howlite turquoise, blue and purple imperial jasper, purple jade and rainbow coated turquoise translucent glass bubble beads. I created the webbed center with a tight, neat weave and attached five long chains with lots of beads and charms. There are large galaxy glow beads, glow stone moons, vintage style antique silver sun and moon charms and little silver stars. I hand wired all the beaded links and there are two long faceted crystal links to make extra rainbows when the sun hits. I created a glittery cat on the moon and two large teardrops with resin that glow super bright! And at the very bottom is a turquoise blue faceted crystal ball about 1.25 inches wide. This dreamcatcher came out so lovely and will make a beautiful addition to your decor.
Charges in the sun or a bright light source and will glow in the dark for several hours. I will include a small UV light that will also charge it. The glow is all non toxic and will recharge for many years!
